Since I started in sales back in the nineties I’ve been a big on using smart tools and working with my sales stack in sales to increase win rates, help clients better, and operate with more insight. For the past few years I’ve had a post at YourSales.com and on quora, where I now edit a wiki on all the tools in the sales stack. Below you’ll find the current state of the wiki list.

I do keep a separate copy as the wiki can be edited by anyone. Someone who wants to sell some sort of sales stack tool is sure to come by and edit the wiki in their favour without a huge level of concern for all of us in and outside sales who need an overview like this.

To maintain sales velocity and competitiveness Inside Sales and Field Sales Professionals and teams alike need to continuously reconsider the tools they have in their sales stack. B2B sales and selling have become synonymous with continuous change. Keeping an overview of the flood of new tools in the sales stack is increasingly difficult.

Sales is powered by tools. Use – or fall behind !

The sales stack tools list below is categorized and for easy viewing and searching and will also be updated as inevitably these tools – some of them features doubling for products – will be acquired and assimilated into actual products. Equally quite a few of the current tools for B2B selling on this sales stack list will eventually die as they fail to create a revenue generating model.

Do you have tools that belong on this list? Let me know, and I’ll make sure to include and categorize them to everyone’s benefit.

Here we go:

2016 Sales Stack Tools

Sales Automation/Acceleration

  • Shoretel – http://shoretel.com ( *** acquired by Mitel - finalized 2017 *** )
  • Brisk – Save Time Do More ( *** shut down July 1st 2016 *** )
  • Salesfinder – #1 Social Prospecting Platform ( *** acquired by salestools.io April 11th 2016 *** )

You can find the Quora wiki and everyone’s contributions here.

Edited and categorized by Jakob Thusgaard. I’m making sure to keep a copy, so this list of tools for the Sales Stack remains as relevant as possible. Send me a message or comment here if you have any problems whatsoever with that.

  2. Super awesome post with lots of great resources. Another one that could be added to the PROSPECTING LEADGEN LIST CREATION is Lusha.co. It offers the most accurate personal contact details the quickest, with just one click.
